Okay, so I had this whole other post written up and then I realized I posted the same info two weeks ago. LOL! Which left me going uuuummmmm….
Which totally led me to thinking about sex noises. Yes people this is how my convoluted mind works. Please do not attempt to duplicate this process at home.
Back to the topic at hand…sex noises. Well, I often see complaints about stilted dialogue in erotic romance. Readers scoff that anyone would yell out “I’m coming!”. Well, I have to say I disagree. I think, among other things that are said and or sounds that are made, people will yell things like that out. (This observation may or may not be from personal experience. I won’t tell and you probably don’t want to know.)
Another thing I’ve noticed is the trend in using the sound unh. I mean I often use write mmmmm, aaahhh, ooohhh, and of course yes! But I’m not sure about the unh. It kind of annoys me. Anyway, I prefer a vocal couple in general. I mean if you don’t tell your lover what is or is not working then how will they know? And folks, that goes for real life as well as book-life.
What do you think? Do you like to “hear” the H/h getting busy? Or do you prefer a little less conversation? (Your welcome for the Elvis earworm.)
