Funnily enough the only people who ever ask me what I write are my work colleagues. They know I am a published author and write under a pen name but I never divulge what I write.
The place I work at is very uptight and the profession even more so. Accountants are stereotyped as boring for nothing. Anyway, their is much speculation about my books but no proof. I have to say I kind of like it.
While my colleagues sit and ponder whether two plus two really equals four I listen to my iPod and imagine the gorgeous Irish stripper in the book I am currently writing getting his kit off to whatever raunchy tune is playing in my head.
My secret smile on book release day has nothing to do with banging my husband before work and everything to do with the fact that I love having a secret life. I have no idea how I survived before I discovered writing on the raunchy side.
