Becoming Naughty

When I first started reading erotica I used to laugh at some of the heroines and how they would act in normal situations. Car broke down and a hot guy stops to help? Heroine checks out his package as soon as he steps from his car. Hot businessman holds the door on the elevator? Heroine’s eyes stray downward as the elevator rises.

I remember thinking, what woman really does that? I’ll admit I was very sheltered well into my twenties. So, I was never the type to ogle a man or allow my eyes to drop to see if there was an obvious bulge. In fact, it wasn’t until my twenties that I even knew what that bulge meant. I don’t know if it’s having been married for over sixteen years, or having written erotic romance for three, but I’ve found myself being a bit more naughty. I do notice obvious bulges now, and not just chests and arms like I used to. I notice how men look, dress, and smell, when I used to be completely oblivious. I’m also a hell of a lot more vocal. My poor husband doesn’t know what to think.

Here’s a peek at my newest release:

He loves me, he loves me not. He loves me…okay, the truth is he doesn’t really like me right now, but I have a plan to change his mind. I see the way he looks at me with heat in his eyes. Sean Maxwell might be a confirmed bachelor, but a taste of Ms. Megan Nettle is just what he needs to soften his hard exterior. And once I get him in my bed, he won’t want to leave. There’s nothing some hot lovin’ can’t fix.
But my persistence backfires when he decides he’s too dangerous for little ole me. Something in his past is driving a wedge between us, and he’s determined to stay away. That’s not going to happen. This calls for some serious seduction. I’ll use those sparks between us to melt away his rule of two dates max.
