sssSotiaNo, it’s not a romance story. Don’t look for Part 1 in previous posts. I’m actually going on vacation. Yay!

Three of my best friends, whom I met through writing a lifetime ago, are visiting from UK and USA, and we’re hitting the beach for a week. Woot!

In honor of summertime, I was looking for a beachy WIP of mine to post a scene for you, but I found nothing, so here’s a lakeside sneak peek from Wolf for Christmas.

She dived underwater, enjoying the cool caress against her heated skin. The battle had awoken in her a hunger that had nothing to do with bloodlust. She’d hoped to assuage it with a swim, but the night air was fraught with want and promise and seduction.

And Aherin.

She resurfaced, pushing out her chest and throwing back her head, fully aware of the sight she presented. Her hair, unusual even for her family, had always been her pride. The wet ends swished and tickled her lower back, as she pretended to have just noticed his presence. A deep breath, a fake effort at modesty, and they were bantering. Innuendos went back and forth. Nothing out of the ordinary—naughty, but safe. She could stop it at that.

But she didn’t want to.

The lake had done nothing to quell her thirst, and despite her better judgment, her blood boiled for Aherin’s cool touch.

When he finally stood naked before her, she studied him unabashedly. Nakedness wasn’t something that fazed her kind, and Aherin’s body was a work of art. He was tall, and full of muscle gained by his human years as a pirate. His long legs were sprinkled with dark hair, as was his chest. The hair trickled to a thin trail down his abdomen, and turned thicker around his cock, which stood long and thick, as if beckoning her.

Wolf for Christmas

A Fangs and Fur Novella

Salina has earned her one-year vacation on Earth, damn it! She’s been an exemplary sentinel for her pack, and saved all the universes.

Too bad she hasn’t been very effective at kicking Aherin to the curb. Sleeping with the annoyingly persistent vampire was her one little lapse in judgement, and now he just won’t leave.

As if that wasn’t enough, her holiday plans are spoiled, her world is turned upside down, and she’s going to miss out on a yummy family dinner, all because she’s kidnapped on Christmas Eve.
