Ever been too tired to read? Seriously, you pick up a book and read a page or two and your eyes get heavy. Your head’s not into the story – it’s not that it’s bad, or long – and you don’t want to spend the energy. It’s not like another book tempts you. You just don’t want to read.

I’m there right now. I bought quite a few books anticipating a nice summer of reading. I have about twenty books left in the Goodreads challenge, and it feels as though I hit a wall. I’ve picked up and put down the same book several times this week. I’m slowly chipping away, and I feel I could enjoy the story if I had the will to read more.

What do you do when you’re too tired to read? How can you wait it out, and when will the drive return? I hope the answer is soon.
