Life it seems, like the seasons, changes regardless of whether you want it to or not.  The tempo of change varies, meandering like the long languid days of summer when you can sit back and watch with pleasure as life gentles you along.

And then in the blink of an eye the wild winds of autumn thrash through, whipping life into a vortex of manic confusion and you hastily duck and dive trying to avoid the wrenching currents sweeping you along.

Winter arrives as snow lies like death, blanketing the earth, and silence falls. A rest, a comfort.

Delicate and fragile, spring peeps from beneath the comforter taking tentative steps, one at a time, fresh and hopeful in its burgeoning desire to grow again. And the sun dawns on a new day.
